Exploring Islands by sailing yacht

Exploration of Fiji's North West Islands by yacht is the only way to see the best the area has to offer whilst getting in close is better done in the tender.

Water Sports

Water sports is a fundamental part of cruising and the yachts 4.0 meter tender with 60HP outboard is the ideal platform for sports and transports up to 6 persons.

Visiting the sandbar on the outer reef is pretty unique.

Snorkeling is ever popular and most of the outer islands have exquisite reefs and marine life. There are many offshore reefs that have never been snorkeled. The ultimate is to snorkel with the manta rays - a family lives and breeds here each year.

Fishing   Diving

Fishing from the yacht whilst sailing or from the tender to while away a tranquil evening are great ways to catch some of tomorrows fare.

50lb and 30lb deep sea rods plus fly rods are available as well as hand lines.

Dive the documented sites or just find a remote reef and explore, the corals are healthy and water is clear clear. Drift dives, walls and more.
5 sets of tanks, weights, jackets, DV's available plus onboard compressor.
Water Ski-ing
Water ski-ing is great behind the dinghy with its 60HP 4 stroke and it can pull up a skier on dual skis as well as a mono skier for a deep water start.

Learn how to ski with instruction from dual right up to mono.

Great sailing opportunities in the calm waters where High Aspect really excels. Much of the NW of Fiji is protected by reefs or the main islands.

Star Gazing

Island Culture

This may seem a strange activity but with the clarity of the atmosphere and very low ambient light star gazing in Fiji is awesome.

Spot the constellations or the Southern Cross as the sky appears so black you really see more stars than ever before.

Spending a little time ashore is well worth it, the Indian Temple at Nadi, the Market, the Gardens of the Sleeping Giant and many more places offer great trips to see the local culture and area.

Shopping at Lautoka or Nadi are also interesting with bazaars and island style vendors. Even the outer islands have small craft shops, usually under a palm tree.
